Coral Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Shipping Method & Carrier
  • Priority Overnight: All live coral orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx Priority Overnight. This is the only method we use to ensure the shortest possible time in transit.
  • Flat Rate Shipping: We offer flat-rate shipping of $49.99 for all orders.
  • Free Shipping: Orders over $400.00 qualify for free shipping. use checkout code: Coralhoarder
2. Handling & Shipping Schedule
To ensure your corals don't sit in a warehouse over the weekend, we only ship Monday through Wednesday.
  • Standard Schedule: Orders placed Monday–Wednesday typically ship within 24–48 hours.
  • Weekend Cut-off: Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST on Thursday will ship the following Monday.
  • Hold for Weather: We reserve the right to delay shipping if temperatures in either the origin or destination city are below [40°F] or above [90°F]. We will contact you via email if a weather hold is placed. We also reserve the right to delay shipping due to inclement weather along the shipping route or if the carrier is showing a delayed status.
3. Delivery Requirements
  • Signature & Acceptance: You must be present to accept the package on the first delivery attempt!
  • No PO Boxes: We cannot ship live livestock to PO Boxes. A physical street address is required.
  • Rerouting: Manually rerouting a package through the carrier while it is in transit voids our [DOA Guarantee], as it often causes significant delays.
  • We do not accept return to sender packagews.
  • We do not ship outside the continental 48 states of the united states.
4. Packaging & Supplies
  • Insulated Containers: All corals are shipped in thick-walled styrofoam coolers within a cardboard outer box.
  • Climate Control: Depending on the season, we include professional-grade heat packs or cold packs at no extra charge to maintain stable temperatures.
  • Triple Bagging: Corals are double bagged in heavy-duty poly bags to prevent leaks and punctures during transit.
5. Shipping Fees (Non-Refundable)
Shipping costs are paid directly to the carrier and are non-refundable under any circumstances, including carrier delays, weather delays, or DOA claims. In the event of a replacement shipment, the customer is responsible for the new shipping fee.
