As a slow-growing, plating masterpiece, it develops beautifully scrolled rims as it grows outward, making it an absolute show-stopper under heavy blue or actinic LED lighting.

Once the lights go completely dark, it extends long, transparent, highly venomous sweeper tentacles to clear its immediate surroundings. While it gets energy from photosynthesis, it thrives with supplemental target feedings. Safely feed it 1–2 times a week when its feeding tentacles are visible at night, using micro-pellets, powdered reef foods, or enriched mysis shrimp to boost its slow growth rate and deepen its colors.
