Dosing Instructions
Always verify your system's exact baseline alkalinity with an accurate test kit before adding any supplements.
Beginner Routine: Add \frac{1}{2} level teaspoon (approx. 3g) per 40 US Gallons (150 L) of water twice a week. Always dissolve the powder completely in at least 1 cup of freshwater before slowly adding it to a high-flow zone of your tank.
Advanced Routine: Each individual 3g dose per 40 gallons will raise total system alkalinity by approximately 0.25 meq/L (approx. 0.7 dKH). You can safely scale the frequency or size of your dose up as needed to hit your target line, but do not exceed a maximum increase of 1 meq/L per day.
Handling Note: Do not directly mix Reef Builder into the same container with liquid calcium, magnesium, or strontium supplements, as this will cause immediate, irreversible precipitation.
