It features highly mutated, dramatically enlarged, and pillowy golden-orange vesicles that rise from a deep teal or metallic green oral disc. Key Features & Tank Requirements
💎 Coveted "Godzilla" Bubble Mutation
Demands absolute attention with its iconic, oversized bounce bubbles. As the mushroom matures and splits, these pillow-like vesicles inflate further, making each specimen a completely custom living masterpiece.
💡 Diffused, Low-Intensity Lighting
Extremely sensitive to bright metal halide or intense LED hotspots. High PAR will quickly cause this morph to shrink or bleach. Place it in shaded zones, under rocky overhangs, or flat on the sandbed beneath deep actinic spectrums to maintain its color intensity.
💨 Slow, Low-Velocity Currents
Requires minimal water movement. Strong powerhead blasts will prevent the mushroom from fully expanding its fleshy body and can cause its signature bounce bubbles to temporarily deflate. Provide a slow, wrapping, laminar current.
🪨 Rubble Attachment Footing
Like all mushrooms, its delicate flesh cannot be glued directly to rocks. This premium frag arrives pre-attached to a small piece of live rock rubble or a frag plug. Secure it into a stable nook where it can slowly spread onto your main aquascape.
🥩 Microscopic Target Feeding
While it derives its main energy via photosynthesis, it responds beautifully to regular supplemental feeding. Gently target feeding it with micronized reef powders, liquid organic foods, or micro-plankton once a week will support its thick tissue health and boost its slow growth rate.
