Kent Coralife Nano Reef Part A & B Ionic System
Complete Calcium, Alkalinity, and Trace Element Care for Nano Reefs
Maintaining the delicate balance of calcium and carbonate hardness in a small aquarium can be a balancing act. The Coralife Nano Reef Part A & B system is a simplified, two-part liquid dosing regimen engineered specifically for the unique demands of nano reef aquariums (typically up to 40 gallons).
Instead of cluttering your cabinet with dozens of individual additive bottles, this streamlined system supplies all the essential ions, buffers, and trace elements that corals, clams, and calcareous algae need to thrive, grow, and maintain structural health.
The Two-Part System Explained
Part A (Calcium & Minerals): Specially formulated to provide bioavailable calcium, magnesium, strontium, iron, and crucial trace elements to promote steady skeletal growth in stony corals and healthy cellular function in reef invertebrates.
Part B (Alkalinity Buffer): A complex blend of carbonate, bicarbonate, and borate buffers designed to safely elevate and maintain carbonate hardness (alkalinity) while locking your pH into a stable marine range.
Key Features & Benefits
Tailored for Nano Tanks: The concentration and pour-spout bottles are optimized for low-volume, precise dosing, reducing the risk of accidental chemical spikes in small water volumes.
Simplifies Reef Maintenance: Consolidates multiple dosing needs into just two easy steps, ensuring your tank gets its baseline minerals without shifting the ionic balance of the saltwater.
Promotes Coralline & Coral Growth: Regular use aids in the development of beautiful pink and purple coralline algae while supporting optimal polyp extension and tissue growth across LPS, SPS, and soft corals.
Dosing & Usage Instructions
Because nano aquariums have a very low water volume, always test your calcium and alkalinity parameters before starting a new dosing routine.
Standard Dosage: Add 1 mL of Part A and 1 mL of Part B per 4 US Gallons (15 L) of total aquarium water every other day.
How to Dose: Always add Part A first to an area of high water flow (like near a pump output). Wait 5 to 10 minutes for it to completely disperse, then add an equal amount of Part B to a high-flow area.
Important Note: Never mix Part A and Part B together in the same container or pour them into the aquarium simultaneously, as this will cause the calcium and carbonates to instantly precipitate out of the water into a useless white powder.
